It is a continuation of the story that started three years ago with Peter meeting a world-class producer Sacha Skarbek in London - their first EP Gold spawned an eponymous single that won the American MTV U chart among others and opened Peter the way to tour the US for the first time. The younger of the EP siblings, Happiest Accidents, widens Peter’s direction again not only in terms of geography (as he is heading to the United States once more) but mainly in a musical sense as well.
Written in the period of several months in London, Copenhagen or Nashville and recorded in in famous RAK Studios in London under the precise control of Sacha Skarbek, Happiest Accidents represent a recognisable shift from the previous album - while still maintaining Gold’s focus on a strong singer-songwriter tunes with clear folk foundation, it has more rock oriented feeling to it.
